Long weekend
Hi there
Well we had a busy long weekend went to a team stamping weekend and we created a few different projects which I will show havent got time now because they still need to be finished off and I am going to Melbourne this weekend with my mum (this is my birthday present) so when we get back I will have lots to tell you and show you and hopefully I will be able to get those projects finished and uploaded.

I haven’t forgotten you……

Like the title says I haven’t forgetten you what so ever have just been very busy with work and life in general. Now that I have been put off work for a few weeks due to there not being enough work for me to do, I will have a bit more time to do some stuff. It was my birthday on wed 16th and my aunty made me a special album so I will show some pages out of that maybe later today or next week until then.

Well I thought that it was about time to show you something else that I’ve created. Im sorry its been a while but I have been so busy working and now that I have two jobs they will take up most of my days through the week and then weekends are limited. So will try and get here as often as I can.

Stamp Sets: Fresh Cuts and Fifth Avenue Floral
Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Rose Red, Summer Sun, Old Olive marker, Real Red marker and Summer Sun marker
Accessories: Blender Pen and Dimensionals
To get the leaves colour the section of the stamp with the olive marker then stamp onto the white card stock and then cut out.

Hi there Ladies
Well I have a couple of projects for you today. The first one is a card I made for my friends boyfriends birthday yesterday. I cased this one not sure who did it but happy to acknowledge them if anyone knows who they are.
Stamp Set: Cheers to you and Cheery Chat (retired)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Cotton Balls and Blender Pen
For the froth on top of the beer I glued pieces of cotton balls on with anywhere glue stick.
This next card I also cased once again happy to acknowledge the person who created it.
Stamp Set: Cheers to you
Card Stock: Creamy Caramel, Basic Black, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip
Ink: Basic Black and Creamy Caramel
Accessories: Cotton Balls, Blender Pen, Hemp Twine and 1/4′ punch for corners
The technique used on the cards is water colouring.

Well I thought I should put my first actual post so here it is. I made this card the other day, I was playing around with my brayer and was surprised at what I ended up with.
Tools: Brayer, Crystal Effects Glue, Snail, Boho Blossoms Punch, 1/16″ (2mm) handheld circle punch and dimensionals
Card Stock: Whisper White and Orchid Opulence
Stampset: One of a Kind
Accessories: Brads and Dazling diamonds glitter
Stamp pads: Pixie Pink, Lavender Lace, Elegant Eggplant
Step 1: Use the brayer to cover the entire piece of whisper white card stock with the pixie pink, then cover the top half the card with the lavender lace (also using the brayer).
Step 2: Using pixie pink card stock cut out the flowers using the boho blossons punch and put them all together and punch a hole using the 2mm hand held punch and put a brad through to hold it all in place.
Step 3: Stamp the big flower in the middle using elegant egglplant stamp pad, and the row of flowers down the bottom also using the elegant eggplant. Then stamp the saying in basic black.
Step 4: Use the dimensionals to stick the flowers to the card (just to give it a bit more height, using the dimensionals is totally optional)
Step 5: Using the crystal effects glue and spread it evenly in the middle of the large flower and sprinkle the dazling diamonds over the top. Leave to dry then mount to the card.

Sneak Peak……….
Hello again,
Well I thought I would give you a sneak peak at one of the stamp sets coming in the new Stampin Up! Summer Mini Catalogue. It is called Eastern Blooms. This one is using the 2008 In Colours.
Tools: Paper snips, Stampin Dimensionals (for height),1/16″ (2 mm) circle hand held punch
Stamp sets: Eastern Bloom (avail 1 Dec 2008) and Cheery Chat
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava, Basic Black
Paper: 2008 In Colour card stock of your choice (Purely Pomegranate and Soft Sky shown here), Whisper white
Accessories: brads
Step 1: Stamp the flowers on to whisper white card stock using the in colours of your choice and cut around them using the paper snips
Step 2: Punch a hole in the middle of each of the flowers and insert a brad
Step 3: Using the basic black classic stampin pad stamp the stem onto the card stock side ways as shown, then using the stampin dimensionals stick the flowers in a row also as shown.
Step 4: Stamp a saying of your choice also using the basic black.
Now you are finished.

Tart and Tangy………
Hi there,
I thought it was time for another one of my creations. This one is using the Tart and Tangy set from the Spring Mini (ends 30 November).
Tools: Snail, Dimensionals, scallop circle punch and 1 3/8″ circle punch
Stamp set: Tart and Tangy
Card Stock: Tempting Turquoise, Yoyo Yellow and Whisper White
Ink: Yoyo Yellow stampin write marker, real red stampin write marker, green galore stampin write marker, and only orange stampin write marker
Step 1: cut a piece of tempting turquoise to 19cm long by 9.5cm wide
Step 2: using a scrap piece of Yoyo Yellow cut out four scallop circles using the scallop circle punch and using the snail stick them to the card
Step 3: using your markers colour all four fruits and cut out with the circle punch, stick them to the yellow circles using the dimensionals (this just gives them a bit height)
Now you are done!
This card would be great for a guy on his birthday, if you wanted to give it a girl for her birthday simply change the colours to suit.

It’s been a while
Hello
I know it’s been a while since my last post but with Christmas and everything it’s been a bit hectic, and haven’t had much time to put anything on.
I haven’t got any new projects for you at the moment, but it is my mum’s birthday on NYE and I will be making her a card so keep your eye out for that one.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful new year. I also hope that Santa was good to you. He was good to me I got a few pressies as you get older you tend to not get as much, he bought me an Ipod clock radio, a Betty Boop calendar, if you didn’t already guess I do like Betty Boop very much, some books and some clothes and a perfume. We are going away on Thursday and coming back late Saturday afternoon as it will be 1 year since my grandfather passed on Sunday and my mum wants to be back for that to be with my Nan as none of my aunties or uncles will be here for that. So won’t be posting anything in that time.
It is my dad’s birthday today. We are going out to the crematorium this afternoon and are having family and friends for a bbq tonight.
Well I hope you all have wonderful NYE and good New Years Day. And don’t do anything that I wouldn’t do. I’m sure that you wouldn’t but just incase.

Hi there,
Now I know I said I would show you a card that I made for my mum. Well I didn’t, I gave her one that I already had here. But I did make one for my Aunties birthday on the 9th.
Tools: Paper Snips, 1/16″ hand held punch, dimensionals, and paper trimmer
Accessories: Brads
Stamp Set: A Beautiful Thing (recently in the Spring Mini Catalogue no longer available)
Ink: Stampin Up! Classic Perfect Plum, Stampin Up! Classic Purely Pomegranate, Stampin Up! Classic Basic Black and Stampin Up! Classic Rose Red
Papers: Perfect Plum and Whisper White
This is a two step stamp.
Method:
1. Ink the solid flower stamp with any colour and stamp it off on blank paper then stamp it on whisper white (this is to remove the excess ink), with the flower ink it and eye ball it over the solid flower.
2. Repeat step 1, until you have three flowers.
3. Cut around the flowers using the paper snips.
4. Using the hand held punch, punch a hole in the middle of the flower and place a brad through the hole.
5. Using the dimensionals adhere them to the card in the centre, in a row.
6. Using the black or a colour of your choice stamp the saying or another saying also of your choice at the top of the card.
Now you’re done. I would really love to see any of your creations so please email them to me.

Embracing Life
Hi there,
Well it has been a while since I last posted, should really try and do it more often, anyway thought I would show you this gorgeous card using the Embrace Life set in the Summer Mini. I wasn’t too keen on it when I first saw it but then I used it and fell in love with it and can’t stop creating with it. Wont jabber on any more here it is.
The technique that I used was water colouring for the flower.
Inks: Purely Pomegrante, Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant and Basic Black
Papers: Whisper White and Appricot Appeal
Stamps: Embrace Life
I have also made some book marks but they are not finished yet I am still waiting for my order with the punch that I need to finish them so will show you them at a later date.
Hope you enjoy these ones and have a go they were so quick and easy, the only thing that took a while was cutting out the flowers. And please send me your take on this card I would love to see them.

Priceless Invitations
Hi again
Aren’t you very lucky three posts in one day. Well I have a lot to show you, and I’m sitting at home waiting for courier to come and pick up the old computer and take it back to flexi rent so I thought why not.

My Dad……..RIP
Hi there
It’s been 2yrs today (23 April) since my dad died so I just wanted to remember him here. This is a piece we put in the local paper.
Gone is the face we loved so dear
Silent is the voice we loved to hear
Still loved, still missed and ever dear
Softly the leaves of memory fall
Gently we gather and treasure them all
It does not take a special day
For us to think of you
For these memories are comforts
When we lovingly remember you.
He died of Leukaemia, he had a bone marrow transplant it worked but he picked up a virus from the intensive care unit because his immune system was low it was unable to fight the infection and it took over his body. Well I hope you have a great day.
